Description
IMO info Information about the vessel may be found at IMO 8887870.
A ship can change name and flag state through time, but the IMO number remains the same through the hull's entire lifetime. As a result, it can be useful to identify a ship by using the IMO number.
English: RORO ferry, MV Gem Star - IMO 8887870, on the island of Mayreau, St. Vincent and the Grenadines on April 5, 2017. MV Gem Star provides ferry services between Kingstown and the Southern Grenadines islands of Canouan, Mayreau and Union; with occasional trips to Carriacou.
Note: Originally named Romsdal when built in 1962; changed to Voksa in 2006 and then Gem Star in 2009.
