Description U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Biological Science Lab Technician Andy Ulsamer monitors the flow of raw honey from a centrifuge that extracts honey from honeycomb racks, at the Bee Research Laboratory at ARS in Beltsville, MD, on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014. The honeycomb racks were harvested from the colonies of the People's Garden Apiary, atop the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Whitten Building in Washington, DC. USDA Photo by Lance Cheung.
