Description
Deutsch: 14.03.2013 01768 Johnsbach (Glashütte), Hauptstraße: Dorfkirche (GMP: 50.828729,13.745787). Der erste Kirchenbau in Johnsbach ist wahrscheinlich im 13. Jahrhundert entstanden. Sie gilt als eine der ersten Kirchen in Ihrer Umgebung. Um 1750 ist die heutige Kirche nach dem Vorbild der von Johann Christian Simon erbauten Pretzschendorfer Kirche in achteckiger Form neu erbaut worden. Nach einem Brand am 14. Mai 1972 wurde 1975 mit dem Wiederaufbau der Kirche begonnen. Sie wurde 1985 als Gemeindezentrum für den Kirchenbezirk Dippoldiswalde wiedereingeweiht. Dabei wurden bauliche Veränderungen vorgenommen. In Höhe der ehemals 1. Empore wurde eine Zwischendecke eingezogen. Der eigentliche Kirchenraum liegt nun im Obergeschoß. Er hat außer einem Barocken Altar und einem klassizistischen Taufstein keine historische Ausstattung mehr. Im Raum steht eine große neuzeitliche Orgel. [SAM5661.JPG]20130314600DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
