2013. 10. 16. 공군 방공유도탄 실사격 대회 Republic of Korea Air Force

2013년 10월 16일 오전 대천 대공 사격장에서 방공유도탄부대의 전술기량을 종합평가하고 전투력을 향상시키기 위한 유도탄 실사격 대회에서 패트리어트 미사일이 상공의 목표물을 향해 발사되고 있다.

동북아시아지역에서 처음으로 패트리어트 미사일이 실사격을 한 순간이자. 공군 방공유도탄 부대의 탄도탄 방어능력을 확인하는 순간이고, 2012년 전력화를 마친 패트리어트 포대가 최초로 참가해 실제 항공기와 유사한 레이더 반사면적을 갖는 무인표적기를 활용해 패트리어트 미사일을 2번에 걸쳐 사격 2번 모두 무인표적기를 명중시키며 탄도탄 방어능력을 확인시켰다.
