Description
Deutsch: 02.04.2012 04774 Ochsensaal (Dahlen): Forstweg 8 (GMP: 51.416214,12.950734): Ehemaliges Rittergut. Ein herrschaftliches Schloß hat es in Ochsensaal nie gegeben, da die Rittergutsbesitzer immer anderswo wohnten. Zum Rittergut Ochsensaal gehörte ein einträgliches Forstrevier. Die Fürsten von Reuß setzten Oberförster ein, die ihren Besitz in der Dahlener Heide verwalteten. Der Oberförster, hatte seinen Wohnsitz im Herrenhaus. Wie eine Inschrift besagt, wurde das Herrenhaus 1830 errichtet. Auf der Sandsteintafel ist vermerkt: "Erbaut / durch Frau Louise Henriette / verw. Fürstin Reuß Ebersdorf / geborne Gräfin von Hoym / im Jahre 1830.". Fürst Heinrich XIV. Reuß vererbte u.a. Ochsensaal an seinen Sohn, den Fürsten Heinrich XXVII. Reuß. 1945 wurde die Fürstenfamilie enteignet; der Wald ging an den Staat über. Während das Herrenhaus (rechts i.B.) seit langem leer steht, ist das ehemalige Gesindehaus (hier in Bildmittte) bewohnt. Robert Sohre, verantwortlich für das Revier Reudnitz im Forstbezirk Taura, hat den Gutshof 1999 erworben und das Gesindehaus für sich und seine Familie als Wohnhaus ausgebaut.
