Description
Deutsch: 20.03.2012 04668 Kötteritzsch (Colditz): Schloß (GMP: 51.159952,12.790150). Hoch über dem Muldental beim Dorf Sermuth befand sich bereits im 13. Jahrhundert ein Herrensitz der Familie von Kötteritzsch. Aus dem Herrensitz entwickelte sich ein Rittergut, das sich in der Hand verschiedener Adelsfamilien befand. 1865 kaufte der Textilfabrikant Carl Friedrich Solbrig, Besitzer der Kammgarnspinnerei in Harthau bei Chemnitz, das Rittergut. Er vererbte den Hof seinem Sohn Gustav Theodor Solbrig. Nach den Plänen des Architekten Arwed Rossbach wurde das Herrenhaus 1881/82 erweitert und zu einem prächtigen Schloß im Stil der Neorenaissance umgebaut. Rittergut und Schloss gingen Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts an Dr. Arthur Becker über. Er gehörte einer angesehenen Leipziger Kaufmannsfamilie an. 1945 wurde die Familie Becker enteignet. Nach der Aufteilung des Ritterguts wurde das Schloß als Wohnhaus genutzt. 1994 privatisiert und danach von einer Familie aus Sermuth denkmalgerecht saniert. Sicht von Westen.
