| Description |
Deutsch: 18.04.2011 04775 Malkwitz (Wermsdorf), Kirchstraße: Dorfkirche (GMP: 12.958148,12.990506). Das Gotteshaus geht wahrscheinlich auf eine romanische Saalkirche mit Westturm zurück. Der breite, wuchtige Turm wird von einer schlanken Turmspitze bekrönt, die Baumeister Heinrich Engst aus Dahlen 1901 aufsetzte. An den Turm schließt sich ein gleich breites Kirchenschiff auf rechteckigem Grundriss an, das 1775 - die Jahreszahl ist auf dem Ostgiebel vermerkt - in barocker Gestalt erneuert wurde. Der Innenraum wird von hölzernen Einbauten geprägt, die aus dem 19. Jahrhundert stammen. Die flache Decke wurde 1891 mit einem Sternenmuster bemalt. Die neugotische Altarwand wurde die 1861 eingefügt. Das Altargemälde über dem Altartisch, eine Stiftung des Bauern Carl Gottfried Haensel, zeigt Christus und die Emmausjünger. Die Ausführung übernahm der Dresdner Maler Karl Christian Andreae (1823-1904). Die Kanzel ist von einer neugotischen Architekturrahmung umgeben. [DSCNn2366.TIF]20110418700DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
