Description
Deutsch: 15.04.2011 04758 Merkwitz (Oschatz): Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.31972,13.087777). Das Gotteshaus ist aus einer romanischen Saalkirche hervorgegangen, die 1713 in barocker Gestalt erneuert wurde. Den Neubau führte der Maurermeister Johann George Hauptmann aus Lampertswalde aus. Er schuf einen schlichten, hellen Kirchenraum mit flacher Decke und dreiseitig umlaufenden Emporen. Die Orgel auf der Westempore lieferte 1825 der Orgelbaumeister Johann Gottfried Zöllner aus Wermsdorf. Sie besitzt über 600 Pfeifen aus Zinn und Holz. 1994/95 erfolgte eine Restaurierung des Innenraums. [DSCNn2201.TIF]20110415510DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
