Description
Deutsch: 14.04.2011 04774 Ochsensaal (Dahlen), An der Kirche: Die kleine romanische Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.416311,12.952859) stammt noch aus den Anfangsjahren der deutschen Besiedelung und lässt sich ins 12. Jahrhundert datieren. Die Saalkirche setzt sich aus einem kurzen Langhaus, einem eingezogenen Chor und der halbrunden Apsis zusammen. Der Innenraum wurde in den 1960er Jahren einer Renovierung unterzogen. Man beseitigte die Nordempore und entfernte den vor die Apsis gestellten Kanzelaltar. Der freigelegte romanische Raum wurde behutsam mit modernen Elementen versehen. Dazu gehören der Taufstein aus Rochlitzer Porphyr und das farbig leuchtende Ostfenster.
