Description
Deutsch: 14.04.2011 04758 Bucha (Cavertitz): Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.388055,13.040833). Die Kirche am Rand der Dahlener Heide besetzt eine Anhöhe im Nordosten der Ortslage. Ein steiler Kirchweg führt von der Dorfstraße nach oben zu Friedhof und Kirche. Das schlichte Gotteshaus wurde 1869 errichtet, nachdem der barocke Vorgängerbau am 8. April 1868 abgebrannt war. Die Weihe des Neubaus erfolgte am 14. November 1869. Die Dorfkirche in Bucha besteht aus einem schmucklosen rechteckigen Kirchenschiff mit Bogenfenstern und Walmdach und einem vorgesetzten Westturm, der sich in drei Geschossen aufbaut.
