Description
Deutsch: 14.04.2011 04758 Cavertitz: Die Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.386447,13.132293) ist eine typische romanische Saalkirche mit Querwestturm, die um 1200 sicher schon bestanden hat und keine wesentlichen Änderungen erfuhr. Ein Triumphbogen vermittelt zum kreuzgratgewölbten Chor, an den sich die halbkreisförmige Apsis anschließt. Wolf Albrecht von Schleinitz auf Cavertitz stiftete zum Gedenken an seine1584 verstorbene Ehefrau Esther von Einsiedel eine eindrucksvolle Altarwand in Renaissanceformen. Einer nicht nachprüfbaren Nachricht zufolge wurde der Altar von Egidius de Bruigt (de Bruck) [Egidius de Bruck] geschaffen, einem niederländischen Meister, der in Freiberg tätig war. Die Reliefs der Mittelachse zeigen das Abendmahl, die Kreuzigung und die Himmelfahrt Christi. [DSCNn2086.TIF]20110414315DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
