Description
Deutsch: 14.04.2011 04758 Laas (Liebschützberg): Dorfkirche Laas (GMP: 51.366666,13.145833). Die große romanische Chorturmkirche stammt aus der zweiten Hälfte des 12. Jahrhunderts. An das rechteckige Kirchenschiff schließt sich der schmalere Chor an. Der Altar steht in einer halbrunden Apsis. Die Apsis war, wie man bei der letzten Renovierung feststellte, mit einer figurenreichen Darstellung desWeltgerichts ausgemalt. Leider wurden diese Befunde wieder zugedeckt. Kanzel, Gestühl und Emporen stammen von 1869, desgleichen die Felderdecke. Früher war das Kirchenschiff viel farbenfroher gestaltet. Als man Anfang der 1990er Jahre die Kirchendecke sanierte, wurden alte Deckenbretter mit Bemalung gefunden. Doch die Gemeinde hatte sich an die Gestaltung des Raumes gewöhnt und verzichtete auf eine Freilegung der historischen Farbgebung. [DSCNn2077.TIF]20110414215DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
