Description
Deutsch: 14.04.2011 04758 Sörnewitz (Cavertritz), Dorfstraße (GMP: 51.372535,13.100085): Dorfkirche Sörnewitz. Die Kirche ist romanischen Ursprungs. Das Kirchenschiff wurde Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts weitgehend neu erbaut. Vor dem Einbau des Kanzelaltars hatte die Sörnewitzer Kirche einen spätgotischen Flügelaltar, der heute die Nordwand des Chorraums ziert. Der Schrein wurde Anfang des16. Jahrhunderts geschaffen. Im Schrein ist die Madonna mit dem Jesuskind zu sehen, umgeben von den Schnitzfiguren der Jungfrauen Barbara und Katharina. In den Flügeln standen ehemals zwölf Apostelfiguren, von denen noch acht erhalten sind. [DSCNn2059.TIF]20110414110.DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
