English: This side-view of the USS Wenonah is stitched together from two separate photos taken shortly after the vessel was raised above her normal waterline. The base of the derrick crane is visible in the background (in NOAA blue), the smaller salvage barge is in the middle-ground and the USS Wenonah is in the foreground.
At this point in the incident, all portions of the tugboat visible in this merged photo had been completely submerged for approximately 10 days. According to USCG Strike Team personnel who were on-board at the time of the photos, the interior of the tugboat was coated with mud and in complete disarray.
