| Description |
English: The container Terminal of Athus, as seen from Road N830. The terminal is divided by railway line 167 to Arlon (on the right) and bordered by line 165/1 to Virton (on the left) and line 165 (behind the stacks). Both coming form the Luxembourgian city of Rodange. Photo shows the western zone of the terminal. A second (eastern) zone is available, but out of the photograph. This configuration was visible between 2004 and 2019, and updated to allow a new branch (Line 165/3 to Mont-Saint Martin)
Français : Le terminal container d'Athus, vu depuis la route N830. Le terminal est divisé en deux zones, séparées par la ligne de chemin de fer 167 (sur la droite de la photo) vers Arlon. La photo montre la partie ouest du terminal, bordée par la ligne 165/1 (à gauche) et la ligne 165 (derrière les piles de containers) vers Virton. Les deux lignes rejoigne Rodange, au Luxembourg. La partie est du terminal n'est pas visible sur la photo. Les deux parties disposent de 4 à 5 voies de chemin de fer desservies chacune par un grand portique sur pneu et plusieurs chariots à fourches. Cette configuration était en vigueur de 2004 à 2019, date à laquelle les travaux pour la mise en place du raccordement 165/3 vers Mont-Saint-Martin ont débuté. |
