Description
Deutsch: 10.04.2009 04031 Mühlberg/Elbe: Kloster Marienstern. Klosterkirche St. Maria (GMP: 51.435970,13.219440). Das Zisterzienserinnenkloster wurde 1228 gegründet und 1559 aufgelöst. Nach der Reformation und Klosterauflösung wurde die Klosterkirche 1565 zur Pfarrkirche der Altstadt geweiht. Einschiffiger Backsteinbau mit romanischen Bauteilen, ursprünglich nach 1228, in der 2. Hälfte des 13. Jahrhunderts frühgotischer Umbau der Ostteile, zwischen 1330 und 1350 Umbau des Langhauses, 1539 und 1643 durch Brand beschädigt, 1906 erneuert. Seitenwand im Chor.
