Description
Deutsch: 21.09.2008 01067 Dresden-Altstadt, Schloßplatz: Denkmal für König Friedrich August I. = Friedrich August der Gerechte. Vollständiger Name: Friedrich August I. Joseph Maria Anton Johann Nepomuk Aloys Xaver (1750 - 1827). Das Denkmal wurde 1831 bis 1843 vom Bildhauer Ernst Rietschel geschaffen. Bis 1929 stand das Denkmal im Zwinger und wurde dann an den Palaisplatz [in DDR: Karl-Marx-Platz] versetzt. Seit dem 29.05.2008 steht es hier an seinem neuen Standort auf dem Schloßplatz vor dem Ständehaus. [DSCN34156.TIF]20080921050DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
