Deutsch: 02.09.2008 01099 Dresden-Albertstadt: Albertstadt-Kasernen, Stauffenbergallee 24

(GMP: 51.087974,13.744132). Die Entstehung der früheren Garnisonsstadt "Albertstadt" geht auf die Vergrößerung der sächsischen Armee um 1870/71 zurück. Die Militärstadt wurde 1892 bis 1933 dem Stadtgebiet zugerechnet, aber erst 1945 eingemeindet. Die abgebildete König- Georg-Kaserne, errichtet 1900 bis 1901, soll bis 2014 zur neuen Zentrale des Landesamtes für Straßenbau und Verkehr (LASuV) saniert und ausgebaut werden.
