Deutsch: 22.08.2008 01097 Dresden-Leipziger Vorstadt (im ehemaligen Stadteil Neudorf): Alter Schlachthof Dresden (GMP: 51.069747,13.733874), Gothaer Straße 11 (9-16). Ehemaliger Central-Schlachthof und Viehmarkt mit Pferdebörse. Erbaut 1871/72 mit Anschluß an die 1840 eröffnete Bahnstrecke nach Leipzig. 1907 als Schlachthof geschlossen. Nach Verlegung des Schlachthofes zum Ostragehege nutzten verschiedene Betriebe das Areal, u.a. als Lager. In den 1990er Jahren teilweise saniert. Heute befindet sich in den denkmalgeschützten Hallen ein Veranstaltungszentrum, welches regelmäßig Schauplatz von Konzerten und anderen Events ist, darunter der Erotikmesse.
