Description
Deutsch: 27.07.2008 01187 Dresden-Südvorstadt: Nürnberger Straße 31a: Der ovale Platz "Nürnberger Ei" wurde 1899 geplant. Die Gebäude wurden bei den Luftangriffen auf Dresden 1945 weitgehend zerstört. In der Zeit von 1953 bis 1958 erfolgte der Wiederaufbau der beräumten Trümmerflächen nach Plänen der Architekten H. Schneider und Kollektiv (Städtebau) und A. Patitz und Kollektiv (Projekt). Dabei wurde auch die Wohngebietsgaststätte "Nürnberger Ei" errichtet, ein abgewinkelter Flachbau mit Satteldach. 1992/93 wurde sie abgerissen und an ihrer Stelle von 1994 bis 1996 der vielgeschossige Neubau "Am Nürnberger Ei" (GMP: 51.034474,13.722106) als Wohn- und Geschäftshaus nach Plänen des Büros Dähne Architekten errichtet, die auch ihren Bürositz im im Gebäude haben.
