Description
Deutsch: 10.01.2007 01069 Dresden-Seevorstadt Ost: Blick von Nordosten zum Hauptbahnhof (links). Mittig das gläserne "Tortenstück" am Beginn der Prager Straße. Vorn rechts der Altbau Sidonienstraße 18. Das "Siemenshaus" (GMP: 51.041215,13.736080) genannte Gebäude wurde 1936 als Arbeitsstätte einer in Dresden ansässigen Siemens-Niederlassung gebaut. Nach Kriegsbeschädigung diente es in der DDR dem VEB Starkstromanlagenbau als Produktionsstätte. Die Sidonienstraße erhielt 1855 ihren Namen zu Ehren der Prinzessin Sidonia (1834-1862), Tochter des Königs Johann. [DSCN20420.TIF]20070110050DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
