Shockwave Blue. The BF Falcon was built from Oct 2005- Feb 2008. Visually the BF was only a minor facelift on the BA, but it was a more refined car, quieter and smoother. FPV. (Ford Performance Vehicles), a separate company to Ford, operating from 2003-2014, produced the performance models for Ford Australia, starting in 2003 with the BA. Engines were unchanged with the new BF FPVs, but all models received new body kits, new wheels and brembo brakes. Sedans available were the GT and GT-P V8s and the Turbo 6 cyl F6 Typhoon. Utes were the V8 Pursuit and Super Pursuit also the Turbo 6 cyl F6 Tornado. With the 2006 BF Mk II, the Fairmont Ghia based Force 6 and Force 8 became available. In 2007, 200 black and gold 40th anniversary GT were available, 290kw and the first 'R spec' FPV (Upgraded handling package) and in 2008, 400 blue and white 30th anniversary Cobra sedans (and 100 utes) were produced, similar paint scheme as the 1978 XC Cobra. 302kw and also 'R-spec' The BF GT got 19in 5 spoke alloys, 150 watt sound system, dual zone climate control, trip computer and electric seats.
