English: People are playing Chinese chess on the street - part of Chinese culture. It is commonly played outside in yards and parks by the mid- to old-aged (people pictured may be Korean since it was taken in a Beijing housing complex populated largely by Korean people). Street photography in China by photographer David Maximillian Waterman on 2005/07/10 using a Canon 10D/EF 28-135mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS.
