Позднее передан в депо ОКТ Мурманск, затем в депо ОКТ Ржев
В июле 2000 г. после КР передан в депо Волховстрой, впоследствии в депо СПб-Витебский ОКТ
Затем передан в депо Хвойная и, в 2009 г, в связи с реорганизацией, снова в депо Волховстрой ОКТ
В сентябре 2016 г. передан в депо Калининград КЛГ
Настоящий 2М62-0958 стал донором запчастей на УЛРЗ

КР Мичуринский ЛРЗ 07.2000 г.
КР Уссурийский ЛРЗ 04.2009 г. (переделан в два одиночных тепловоза, установлены дизели 2Д49 (фактически — секции 3М62У-0060АБ (зав. № 6237/???? 1988 г. п.))
02.2017 2М62-0958Б перекрашен в корпоративный окрас ОАО "РЖД"
