Summary[edit]

Description The reverse side of a late 19th Century love token. The other side of this coin was reingraved with fancy stylized initials of the loved one. You can see where mounting brackets were added to make this coin into a brooch. Sometimes the coins were holed and added to a pendant or change. This practice was a fad in the latter part of the 19th Century. Circa 1880-1900.
