Description

The Land Rovers are off-road vehicles produced in the UK, they were introduced in 1948, the design was inspired by the US-built Willys Jeep. In 1983, the Land Rover short wheelbase 90 or long wheelbase110, (name above the grille) replaced the Series Land Rovers (I, II and III) and 1990 was renamed the Defender (name above the grille) Visually the changes from the Series III to the 110 were; full-length bonnet, revised grille, 1 piece windscreen, plus the fitting of wheel arch extensions to cover wider-track axles, mechanically it got more power, a permanent 4WD system and coil springs. It was available in 3 door, or 5 door, pickup and van
