Description
Deutsch: 24.09.1987 DDR 2621 [18246] Gnemern (Jürgenshagen): Wasserschloß (GMP: 53.931812,11.832747), Schloßstraße. Das Herrenhaus in Gnemern ließ Fürst Borwin I. um 1218-1223 als Wasserburg zum Schutze des Landhandelsweges zwischen Rostock und Wismar erbauen. Besitzer waren die Adelsfamilien de Gnemare, Preen, Finecke, Reventlow, Vieregge und Oertzen. 1676 abgebrannt. Neubau des Gutshauses 1682-1685. Von 1661 bis 1945 befand es sich im Besitz der Freiherren von Meerheimb. Innen Ende des 19. Jh. im historistischen Stil ausgestattet. In der DDR-Zeit wurde das Wasserschloß ab 1981 saniert und gemeinnützig zum kulturellen Zentrum ausgebaut. [R19870923B10.jpg]19870924120NR.JPG(c)Blobelt
