Description
Deutsch: Blick von der Brücke des Minentransporters Sachsenwald (A1437) auf das im Marinestützpunkt Flensburg-Mürwik liegende Flottendienstgeschwader mit seinen Schiffen der Thetis-Klasse. Der Winter 1984/1985 war gekennzeichnet durch starken Eisgang in der westlichen Ostsee, der bis weit in den März 1985 andauerte. Bei dem Datum handelt es sich um ein fiktives Datum innerhalb des Monats Februar 1985. Die Aufnahme wurde mit Bestimmtheit im Februar 1985 gefertigt, allerdings läßt sich der genaue Tag nicht mehr bestimmen.
English: Thetis-class fleet auxiliary vessels (formerly designated as submarine hunters) in Flensburg-Mürwik naval base. The photo has been taken from the elevated position of the bridge of minelayer/minetransport 'Sachsenwald' (A1437). The winter 1984/1985 brought some heavy icing into the Western Baltic and affected navigation until late March 1985. The photo was taken in February 1985 although the exact date cannot be established.
