Description
Deutsch: Minentransporter Steigerwald (A1438) des 1. Minensuchgeschwaders an der Thüringenbrücke im Marinestützpunkt Flensburg-Mürwik während einer Schiffssicherungsübung. Die Aufnahme wurde von der Brücke des Schwesterschiffes 'Sachsenwald' (A1437) aus gemacht. Bei dem Datum handelt es sich um ein fiktives Datum innerhalb des Monats Februar 1985. Die Aufnahme wurde mit Bestimmtheit im Februar 1985 gefertigt, allerdings läßt sich der genaue Tag nicht mehr bestimmen.
English: Minelayer/minetransport 'Steigerwald' (A1438) of 1st minesweeping squadron at Flensburg-Mürwik naval base during a damage control exercise The photo has been taken from the bridge of her sister ship 'Sachsenwald' (A1437). The photo was taken in February 1985 although the exact date cannot be established.
