| Description |
The C110 Skyline, as it was known in Japan was built from 1972-77. Export models were the 160K, 180K and 240K. It was available again in 4 door sedan, 2 door hardtop coupe, and 5 door wagon. Its appearance seems to be influenced by the 1970-75 Citroën SM. The C110 was the first version to return to the round rear tail and brake lights introduced in 1963. It sold just as well in Australia in a 2.4L 6-cylinder form, badged as Datsun 240K. The top Japanese model was of course the GTR, only 197 were made. This Australian 240K raced in the 1974 Hardie Ferodo 1000 finishing 7th outright, driven by Stewart McLeod and Doug Whiteford |
