The 1955 Pillared Starlight Coupe and the Commander Hardtop Coupe got a new name in 1956, the Studebaker Hawk. In 1956, the Pillared Coupes were the Flight and Power Hawk Hardtop Coupes were the Sky and Golden Hawk. For 1957, the Flight and Power Hawks were replaced by the Silver Hawk. For 1959, the only Hawk available was the Silver Hawk In 1960 they were called just the Studebaker Hawk. 1961 Hawks got a coloured stripe on the rear fins.
