Summary[edit]

Description

Featuring prominent eye headlamps, backward slanted rear window and tail fins, the all new 105E was built in England and sold in Australia from 1959-68. It replaced the old 100E, and as the 105E was only available in 2 door, the 100E continued on in 4 door form until 1961; called the 107E (it got the new 105E OHV engine). The old 2 door 100E Anglia was also still available as the Popular, a very a low budget alternative. 105E, available in 2 door saloon, and from 1961, estate and van. Models from 1959; Standard, no chrome, narrow painted grille. 

          and Deluxe, single chrome side strip, full width chrome grille.

Engines; 37hp or 39hp 997cc Kent OHV 4 cyl From 1962; the upmarket Super was available, (the 123E) with twin chrome side strip and 49hp 1198cc Kent OHV 4 cyl engine.

(From 1964, this engine was available in all models, 46 or 49hp)
