| Description |
The XK Falcon was built from Sept 1960- Aug 1962. The First Australian Falcon the XK, featuring a concave grille was basically a right hand version of the American car with adjustments to the suspension and diff. The XK proved to be a little fragile for Australian roads, warranty claims were so costly for Ford that the Aussie Falcon was nearly canned. But with the support of Ford U.S. , the car survived. Engines; 144 and 170 cu in 6cyl Sedan; Standard or Deluxe Wagon; Standard or Deluxe The Deluxe had the chrome side strip Standard Utility and Panel Vans were added in 1961. |
