Description

The Jaguar Mark VIII is a large four-door sports sedan, Built from 1957-59, it of course replaced the similar Mk VII. The Mk VIII had the same wheelbase and closely resembled the Mk VII to look at. Apart from a more luxurious interior, changes to the front included, round vents replaced the fog lamps, they were moved from the front panel to mounted on the panel between the bumper & front panel. A curved chrome trim strip was added below the waistline which allowed a variety of two-tone paint schemes. Also the rear spats that were cut back to display more of the wheels. The Mk VIII featured a 1 piece windscreen, where the Mark VII had a 2 piece windscreen.
