Named after its creator and chief engineer, Rudolf Uhlenhaut, Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe is one of the finest examples of automotive engineering and design. Rudolf Uhlenhaut, as the head of passenger car development at Mercedes-Benz was the creator of the 300 SL and the W 196 R “Silver Arrows”. Mercedes-Benz built a total of nine 300 SLRs, two of which were to be set aside per order of Rudolf Uhlenhaut.
