Description
English: 1952 Cunningham C3 Coupé at the 2021 Lime Rock Historic Festival Concours d'Élegance. The Brown over Black color scheme is original to chassis no 5212, unlike the engine: in 1956 the original 331 ci Hemi (C52-8-10238) was replaced with a supercharged (McCullough) 354 ci Hemi V8 from a Chrysler 300B, coupled to a stick shift (engine no. 3NE562038). The car has very minor competition history, including a race at Thompson Raceway in 1955 in the "unrestricted" category (DNF) and a drag race at the Sanford, Maine airport.
