Letter from 1944 written by own hand of bishop Pavol Peter Gojdic, OSBM addressed to Rev. Pankratij Pavel Hucko, OSBM. Letter is about saving 18 Jews from concentration camp. Jews are covered as orchestral instruments in the letter.

Description
English: Letter of bishop Pavol Peter Gojdič, OSBM, from 1944 written in Ruthenian language. By the testimony of Rev. Pankratij Pavol Hučko, OSBM, to Rev. Jozafát Vladimír Timkovič, OSBM, in correspondence with bishop Gojdič during WWII, they called Jews as instruments for orchestra. When Gojdič sent Jews to Hučko for saving them from concentration camp, they brought with them letter from Gojdič... It was precaution, that nazis will not come to Hučko pretending to be Jews... So one of 18 saved Jews mentioned in this letter, brought this letter from Gojdič to Hučko. Document scanned by Jozafát Vladimír Timkovič, OSBM
