English: A 1932 MG F1 Magna Stiles Special Threesome at the 2018 Greenwich Concours d'Elegance. "Threesome" as it has two proper seats and a dickey one (very visible in this shot). The aluminium body was designed by Frederick Stiles (erstwhile Alfa Romeo concessionaire, racing team manager) and executed by James Young. this is one of five remaining out of 30 Stiles Specials built. 1271cc inline-six, 37.2 bhp. 72mph max speed (with the hood down). This car was bought new by a Dr. Frankis Tilney Evans as a birthday present for his wife. Ocean Blue Metallic with beige wheels etcetera is the original color combination. |
