Description

Buick was one of the largest car makers in America in the early 1900s, Buick was General Motors' upmarket car, second only to Cadillac. 1930 Buick styling was among the very best in the market In 1931, styling was little changed from 1930, the grille went from a mesh to vertical bars. The biggest change for 1931 was the engines, the two sixes offered in 1930 were replaced by a trio of ohv eights. The entry-level 114 inch wheelbase Series 50 got a 77hp 221 cu in, available in 2 door Coupe, Sport Coupe, Convertible, Roadster, Sport Roadster, Sedan and 4 door Phaeton or Sedan Next, the 118 inch wheelbase Series 60 got the 90hp 273 cu in, available in 2 door Coupe, Sports Coupe, Sports Roadster and 4 door Sedan or Phaeton

And the premium Series 80 and 90 cars, got the 104hp 345 cu in. The 124 inch wheelbase Series 80 was available in 2 door Coupe or 4 door Sedan, the 132 inch wheelbase Series 90 in 2 door Coupe, Sport Coupe, Convertible, Roadster and 4 door Sedan, Touring, Brougham or Limousine
