English: Hotel Walton 8th & Tilghman Streets - Allentown PA
Hotel Walton was built in 1904 by Alfred O Walt on the southeast corner of North Eighth and Tilghman Streets. Walt sold the hotel in 1935 and it was renamed as the Hotel Tilghman. In 1943 it was again sold to the North End Republican Club, which bought it for $20,000. It remains the Republican Club today. |
