Description
English: Bazar building in Odeonsplatz in Munich (Odeonspl. 12), photographed on silver chloride paper by Carl August von Steinheil and Franz von Kobell in 1838/39. Steinheil and Kobell claimed that they made their first photographs before anyone had published anything on photography. Throughout April and mid-1839, Steinheil and Kobell presented their photographs on silver chloride paper of buildings in Munich.
