Cebuano: July 6, 2022- Gipahigayon kagahapong adlawa, Hulyo 6 ning tuiga, ang unang sesyon sa mga sakop sa 17th Sangguniang Panlungsod ning dakbayan sa Dipolog ilawom na sa pagpangulo ni Bise-Mayor ug Presiding Officer, Atty. Senen O. Angeles. 
       Sa pagsugod sa nasangpit nga sesyon, si konsehal James P. Verduguez ang misugyot sa konseho nga aron pormal nga mapahigayon ang sesyon, gikinahanglan ona ang pag-adaptar sa Internal Rules and Procedure sa 16th Sangguniang Panlungsod isip Interim Internal Rules. Kini gika-oyunan sa mga sakop sa konseho diin gitudlo usab si konsehal Jonald Napigquit isip Interim o temporaryong Floor Leader.
       Sa mosyon ni Interim Floor Leader Napigquit ug sa pagdason sa mga sakop sa konseho, na-adaptar ang Internal Rules and Procedure sa 16th Sangguniang Panlungsod nga maoy temporaryong gamiton alang sa 17th Sangguniang Panlungsod.
       Sa maong kalamboan, gipahigayon dayon ang pagpili sa mga opisyales sa konseho diin ang nahimong President Pro Tempore mao si Hon. James P. Verduguez, Floor Leader mao si Hon. Jonald C. Napigquit, 1st Assistant Floor Leader si Hon. Roseller L. Barinaga, 2nd Assistant Floor Leader si Hon. Roger V. Asprer ug 3rd Assistant Floor Leader si Hon. Praxides P. Rubia.
Pinaagi usab sa Omnibus Motion nga giduso ni Floor Leader Napigquit, na-aprobahan ang komposisyon ug organisasyon sa Chairmanship ug Vice-chairmanship sa 22 ka mga Standing Committees lakip na ang duha ka Special Committees sa maong konseho. (cio-Ldt)
English: July 6, 2022- Held yesterday, July 6 this year, the first session of the members of the 17th City Council of Dipolog under the leadership of Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer, Atty. Senen O. Angeles.

At the start of the forthcoming session, councilor James P. Verduguez suggested council that in order to formally hold session, it needed to adapt the 16th City Council's Internal Rules and Procedure as Interim Internal Rules. This was agreed to by council members where councilor Jonald Napigquit was also appointed as Interim or temporary Floor Leader. With the motion of Interim Floor Leader Napigquit and the generosity of council members, the Internal Rules and Procedure of the 16th City Council was adapted to be temporarily used for the 17th City Council. With this development, the election of council officers was immediately conducted where elected as President Pro Tempore is Hon. James P. Verduguez, Floor Leader is Hon. Jonald C. Napigquit, 1st Assistant Floor Leader is Hon. Roseller L. Barinaga, 2nd Assistant Floor Leader is Hon. Roger V. Asprer, and 3rd Assistant Floor Leader is Hon. Praxides P. Rubia.

Also through an Omnibus Motion pushed by Floor Leader Napigquit, the composition and organization of the Chairmanship and Vice-chairmanship of 22 Standing Committees including two Special Committees of the council was approved. (cio-Ldt)
