. Der Blick geht etwa vom Klagesmarkt im Steintorfeld, also der Bereich vor dem Steintor als Teil der Stadbefestigung Hannovers. Dargestellt ist eine Leichnams-Prozession aus zahlreichen Menschen für eine offenbar hochgestellte Persönlichkeit, die sich bis durch ein - weiteres - Tor des Alten St.-Nikolai-Friedhofs erstreckt. Links im Bild ist die Nikolaikapelle zu sehen, im Hintergrund insbesondere die Kirchtürme der Stadt.
