Description
English: 160511-N-IN729-076 WATERS EAST OF JAPAN (May 11, 2016) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Sean McKenna, from Quantico, Virginia, checks the vital signs of Hospitalman Derek Carlson, from Gaylord, Michigan, as part of a simulated medical emergency during the tactical combat casualty care course aboard the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Sailors learned advanced life-saving skills and techniques throughout the three-day course. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
