Description Cropped and levels adjusted image of sculpture Inspiration to Flight by Donald Gilbert. From photo of Wallis House was designed by Wallis, Gilbert and Partners, and was built between 1936 and 1942. Was originally used by Simmonds Aerocessories, then was used by Beechams Pharmaceuticals. The building was empty by 2005, and has now been converted to flats, called the Great West Quarter. Barrett Homes have retained the ground and lower ground floor as their offices
