Panel Painting from the Nuremberg Dominican Cycle. Before his Resurrection Christ descends into limbo and redeems Old Testament figures. The panel belongs to a Passion cycle from the gallery parapet of the Dominican Church. The unknown painter was strongly influenced by the masters around Dürer.
