(May 9, 2015) Ship's sponsor Alma Booterbaugh breaks a bottle of champagne across the bow during the christening ceremony for the Military Sealift Command joint high-speed vessel USNS Brunswick (JHSV 6) at the Austal USA shipyard. Joint high-speed vessels are designed to be fast, flexible, and maneuverable in shallow waters, making them ideal for transporting troops and equipment quickly.
