| Description |
Taken during a walk along the coast path between St Ives and Carbis Bay on 15 August 2013. During the peak summer period as with other branches in Cornwall, sets are strengthened up to accommodate much higher passenger numbers. With car parking in the popular town of St Ives being at a premium, a Park and Ride service was introduced at Lelant in the late 1970s. As a result a half hourly service operates for most of the day. Seen approaching Carbis Bay on this very scenic line, set 150.125 leads with 150.101 behind on 2A22 13:04 St Ives to St Erth. |
