  • Italiano: Dettaglio del cosiddetto pseudo-atleta di Delos, scultura romana che combina un ritratto realistico a un corpo idealizzato (atletico), del tipo definito da Plinio "statue achillee". Trovata nella "Casa del Diadoumenos" a Delo, circa 80 d.C. Esposta nella stanza 31 del Museo archeologico nazionale di Atene. Foto di Giovanni Dall'Orto, 11 novembre 2009.
  • English: Detail from the so-called Pseudo-athlete of Delos, an ancient Roman sculpture combining a realistic portrait with an idealised (athletic) body. Found in Delos, in the "House of the Diadoumenos", dates from around 80 CE.
