| Description | finally, the sun seemed to be going my way in the middle of 12/9/22 but I had to get to frankfurt (to drop the car and fly to the UK). A line I'd not tried before photographically (idiot) was the Hagen top Siegen line, specifically the section south of Altenhundem where trains were still banked over the twisting summit. I wasn't expecting the joy of a 151, I was ,sadly, only too aware that Monday was likely to be quiet. One freight move - and that was a light 145 headed south to Siegen :( There was the joy of a nice lunch and the IC trains were 147s but the the Stadler FLIRTS on the locals are not exactly inspiring |
